Close to 50 Ensemble Travel Group top producers and execs from Canada and the U.S. recently celebrated the organization’s best-ever year from a North American profit-sharing perspective with a seven-day Norse Legends cruise aboard Holland America Line’s ms Koningsdam.
“This was our first celebration using the ‘Ensemble Elite’ brand, a new name that so aptly describes this group of incredibly accomplished industry and business leaders,” said Ensemble co-president Lindsay Pearlman. “They’ve demonstrated, along with their teams and supported by our powerful network of preferred partners, that they have what it takes to consistently deliver exceptional service, insider knowledge, and extraordinary itineraries to their clients.”
It was the 10th year that Ensemble, which formed in 1968, formally honoured the outstanding sales performances of its members along with its preferred partners, just some of whom included Globus, Insight, Manulife, Sunwing, WestJet, and, of course, Holland America.
Highlights of the cruise, which set sail from Amsterdam, included
a premium wine tasting with the ship’s cellar master, an exclusive excursion viewing the Geiranger Fjord, and a special awards dinner atop Mount Aksla, which offered a panoramic view of Ålesund, the archipelago, and surrounding mountains.
In addition, participants attended special business meetings, led by Ensemble co-presidents Pearlman and Libbie Rice, to discuss trends and new initiatives planned or under discussion in the coming year. The program also featured informal discussion sessions for members with more than 20 supplier sponsors.
